Marilyn A. Burrell, 74, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 7, 2022 at home. She was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Buchwald) Burrell. Marilyn graduated from Towanda High School and was employed as a Laboratory Technician at DuPont in Towanda, PA. She has resided in the Syracuse area for the previous 12 years and lived in Baldwinsville for the past two years.

Throughout her life, Marilyn traveled extensively and enjoyed photographing her adventures and collecting treasures from around the world.  A music lover, she loved attending shows and concerts. Marilyn also loved to learn and was an avid history enthusiast. A true animal lover, she donated to various animal protection foundations and charities. Marilyn adored her cat, Indigo who was her constant companion for many years. She was happy to spend her retirement years close to her family and adored being part of her great nephew and nieces' lives.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her sister, Barbara Pipher of Rochester, NY, her brother, Vincent Burrell of Chula Vista, CA, three nieces; Elizabeth (Jason) Corrigan, Rachael Pipher and Emily (Dustin) Angell, grandnephew, Andrew Corrigan and grandniece, Natalie Corrigan.
