Martha Leopold, 77, of Liverpool, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Nottingham's in Dewitt.  Martha was born in Syracuse and has lived in Liverpool for most of her life.  She worked for Merchants Bank as a Computer Coder for 30 years.  She was a graduate of CCBI Business College with a degree in Retailing.  She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liverpool, where she enjoyed volunteering wherever she was needed, including the Blessing in a Backpack.  Martha was also a member of the (ELCA) Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.  She loved to read and spend time with her many friends.

Martha retired at an early age to care for her father, Robert to prevent him from having to go to a nursing home for long-term care assistance.  Her father lived to be 99 years old.  She was predeceased by her parents, Robert & Gracia Leopold.

Surviving to cherish Martha's memory are her 2 brothers; Michael & Robert Leopold, several nieces and nephews and many devoted friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088, with a  funeral service to follow at 11:30 am.  Martha will be laid to rest with her parents in the Union Settlement Cemetery in West Monroe, NY.

Contributions may be made in Martha's memory to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel Street, Liverpool, NY, 13088 and to the Blessing in a Backpack, Liverpool Chapter 1854.
