Obituary

Marvin S. Meyer, Jr., 91, passed away on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Syracuse, NY, he was a life-long Village of Liverpool resident. After graduating from A.V. Zogg High School, Marvin proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After serving his country, he started working for Porter Cable. He then went to work for General Electric and retired from Bristol Myers Squibb. Marvin is predeceased by his beloved wife, Arlene D. Meyer in 1988 and his three sisters.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his three sons; Michael (Nuan) Meyer, Cary (Michelle) Meyer, Jeffrey (Maria) Meyer, two daughters, Susan J. Meyer and Alaina (Joseph) Morawski, four grandsons; John, Nichols՜, Ronin and Elio, several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. 300 Second St. Liverpool, NY 13088. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 11:00 am in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel Street, Liverpool, NY 13088. Burial will follow in Liverpool Village Cemetery with military honors.
