Mary L. Bonus, 79, formerly of Liverpool, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  Mary was born in Worcester, MA and lived in Liverpool for many years.  She retired as a Teaching Assistant for the Liverpool Central School District where she worked at Chestnut Hill Middle School and Elmcrest Road Elementary.  She also worked with children through ARC of Onondaga.  Mary loved painting, telling stories, dancing, and spending time with her loving family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Tom (Carrie) Bonus and Paul (Amy) Bonus; her grandchildren, Rylee, Maren, Colin, and Regan; her sister Paula West; and nephew, Matt West.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second St. Liverpool, 13088.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to ARC of Onondaga, 600 S. Wilber Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13204.
