Mary "Cathy" Hobb, 62, of Liverpool, NY, and Wellesley Island for the past 30 years, passed away at home on Monday, October 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Johson City, NY to the late William and Mary Timmons. Cathy was a National Sales Manager with Nestle for over 32 years. She was a communicant of Christ the King Church.

Cathy was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time on the River with her family.  She was a driving force behind the Liverpool Turkey Trot. Her commitment and ability to connect with the community made her a vital force in delivering thousands of food boxes during COVID. The impact of her work was enormous and her legacy will carry on as her efforts continue to grow across Central New York.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Jeffrey J. Hobb; her son, Timothy J. Hobb of Syracuse, NY; her daughter, Danielle M. (Kyle) Harrington of Brewerton, NY; brothers, Michael (Jeanette) Timmons of Princeton, NJ and William (Melissa) Timmons of Baldwinsville, NY; sisters, Patricia (John) Simms of Camillus, NY and Anne (Thomas) Squires of Clinton, NY; grandson, "Teddy" Harrington; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 10:30 am in Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY 13088.
