Mary Lou Kocher, 84, of Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Crouse Hospital.  Mary Lou worked for many years as a Sales Associate for Chappell's.  She also volunteered at Hospice of CNY for over 20 years.  She was a graduate of North High School in Syracuse. She enjoyed going on bingo cruises, going to the casino, crafting, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

She is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Mary Kaleta.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 63 years, Philip, 3 daughters; Susan (Rick) Loewer, Debbie (Barry) Hemingway and Christine (predeceased, John) Mussi, son, Stephen (Paul Jaffe) Kocher, sister, Janice Corcoran, 4 grandchildren; Ashley (Lucas) Rodrigues, Bethanie (Tyler Sliker) Hemingway, Mary Cate (Jeff) Nelson and Reva Mussi, 4 great-grandchildren; Jayda, Sofia, Rory, and Benjamin and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Monday, January 5, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool, NY 13088. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
