Mary (Amodio) Marlow, age 81, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Utica to the late Nicholas & Rose Amodio, Mary was a resident of Syracuse for over fifty years. She graduated in 1949 from the State University of New York as a registered nurse. Mary especially enjoyed the arts and nature but she was truly devoted to her family and they always came first. Along with her husband, they enjoyed traveling and visited many destinations around the world.

She was predeceased by her sister, Victoria Montesano.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. Carl E. Marlow of Liverpool, NY; sons, Carl (Becky) of Gig Harbor, WA; Joe (Michele) of Brewerton, NY; Kevin (Dianne) of Clay, NY; Craig (Patty) also of Clay, NY; her daughter, Ellen (Robert) Clement of Cicero, NY; sisters, Jean (Frank) Barletta of Bonita Springs, FL; Sister Mary Nicholas of Utica, NY; six grandchildren, two nieces, and 8 nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 4 to 7pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 9:45 am in the funeral home and at 10:30 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
