Mary O'Connor Wilson, 81, of the L'Arche Community in Syracuse passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Friday, May 20. Mary was a resident in the Galster home and core member of L'Arche for 44 years. She was an avid fan of WWE wrestling, Yankees baseball and the Hallmark Channel. Mary was known for her infectious smile, going for coffee, singing to the oldies and always wanting to be "on the go" with others. Her final years confined her body to a wheelchair, but not her spirit. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by all who loved her. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Timothy and Bertha O'Connor and brothers; John O'Connor and Lawrence O'Connor.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her sister, Patricia Darrow of North Syracuse, NY, her brother Edward O'Connor of Spencer, NY and many nieces and nephews. Mary is also survived by the core members of her L'Arche family and their loving assistants and administrators, past and present.

Celebrating Mary's life, a Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 3:00 pm at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 1340 Lancaster Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210.  All attendees are asked to wear a mask. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt, NY.
