Maureen Ann Caswell, 73, of Phoenix, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 16, 2025.  Maureen was born in Gouverneur, NY to Laurence and Catherine Hickey, a World War II combat veteran, and an Irish immigrant.  She was a proud graduate of LeMoyne College where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She met her husband Brian at a CPA Seminar and spent most of her professional career as a CPA, working as a partner at Caswell & Associates.  She enjoyed swimming, golfing, quilting, and traveling. Maureen was predeceased by her parents, Laurence and Catherine Hickey.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Brian of 46 years and her three children; Brice Caswell (Andy Hudson), Lauren (James) O'Brien, and Brian Caswell (Andrea Bianchi). She also is survived by her two grandchildren, James E. O'Brien IV and Grady L. O'Brien, and five grand dogs. Additionally, she is survived by her three siblings; Michael Hickey (Pat Macmaster), John (Maureen) Hickey, and Sheila (Tom) Sheridan.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY 13090. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in the Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
