Melissa Kathryn Colling, 32, of Syracuse, NY passed away at home. She went to the Lord on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. She was born in Syracuse, NY, graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School and finished her studies attending Nyack College.

Lissy loved her family and friends dearly and was especially close to her mom Gloria, brother Mike, step-dad, Miles, sister-in-law, Sasha and her two youngest nephews, Kurt and James, who affectionately called her "Auntie Liss".

She loved her job as a Senior Patient Benefits Specialist, working for Noble Health Services in Syracuse, NY, where she made many close friends.

Lissy was a kind, generous and loving person to all who knew her. She had an infectious, kooky personality and brought life to any room she entered. Melissa also had a fondness for animals. Her latest furry friend was her 70lb dog Abbey who slept with her every night, always hogging the bed.

She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all of the people that were lucky enough to have her in their lives. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Gerry and Barbara Colling and her uncle, Russ Kulle.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her mother, Gloria G. Colling (Michael Miles), her brother, Michael (Sasha) Moore, three nephews; Kurt, James and Avery, a niece, Kenna, her aunt, Mary Kulle, five uncles; Edward J. (Patricia) Colling, Paul (Mazie) Colling, James A. (Patrice) Colling, Robert P. (Kathleen) Colling, John F. (Joy B.) Colling and many precious cousins she loved dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 am in Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY 13090. The Rite of committal and inurnment will take place in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at a future date.
