Melissa A. (Bray) Cramer, 35 of East Syracuse passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born and raised in Syracuse residing in Liverpool for many years. Melissa graduated from Liverpool High School in 1997 and continued her education at Lemoyne College receiving her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2002. She was employed as a teaching assistant for the Liverpool Central School District. Melissa had a passion for working with special needs children as well as adults. She also volunteered at Helping Hounds Dog Rescue. Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband Mark C. Cramer of East Syracuse, mother, Lauren Bray of Liverpool, father, Thomas (Kathy) Bray of Brewerton, brother, Thomas (Brenda) Bray of Liverpool, grandparents, Joan and Thomas Bray of Madison ,WI , a nephew Evan, two nieces, Chelci and Mallori, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends especially acknowledging, Gina Bosco O'Neil and Robert Laduc. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners 3541 State RT 31 Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 am in Pope John XXIII Catholic Church, 8290 Soule Road, Liverpool, NY 13090. The Rite of Committal and entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
