Michael D. "Big Mike" Kent-Isaacs, 44, of Liverpool, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, surrounded by his family and loved ones, after a long battle with kidney disease.  Michael grew up in Syracuse, NY and Wickenburg, Arizona. He worked at Crouse Hospital as a Registered Nurse for 14 years and took so much pride in being a nurse.  He enjoyed collecting football cards, building Star Wars Legos, going to the casino, cooking, grilling and fishing (or as he would say catching!). Mike even began making his very own fishing lures. He loved going to dinner with his wife for sushi, seafood or Mexican food.  Mike was a die-hard Arizona Cardinals fan, had an extensive sneaker collection and enjoyed his Bud Lights when he was drinking with friends and family.  He will be dearly missed and always remembered for his sense of humor, always making people smile and laugh!  Mike was so generous; he had the biggest heart and would help anyone in need anytime.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jennifer (Barry) Kent-Isaacs, his mother, Joanne (Kent) Sanders, his mother and father-in-law, Tom and Maureen Barry, several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, stepbrother, Nick Sanders, his life-long best friend, Matthew Garcia, his Silver Lab pals Blue and Luna along with countless friends who will never forget him.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027.  A celebration of Michael's life will follow with a service at 7:00 pm.
