Nancy P. Maestri, 79, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Tuesday.  She was born on March 22, 1943, in Dupont, PA, and resided in Liverpool since 1966.  Nancy graduated as valedictorian of Dupont High School in 1960 and later attended Maria Regina College in Syracuse where she received an Associate's Degree. Nancy worked as an administrative assistant at the NY State Thruway for many years before switching roles to become a full-time mother.

She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees as well as the Syracuse University basketball and football teams. Often, she would call or text her children to remind them that a game was on or provide updates on the score of a big game. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her husband, Paul; Hawaii was a favorite destination.   She was a devoted communicant and former RCIA Director of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale, New York. Behind her warm and loving smile was a strong woman who was fiercely independent.  Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul, in 2007.

Surviving to cherish Nancy's memory are her two sons; Paul (Diahn) Maestri, of Liverpool, David (Frances) Maestri, of Onondaga Hill; her daughter, Lisa (Paul) Crisafulli, of Liverpool; and seven grandchildren; Brian, Evan, David, Emilia, Adrian, Angela and Emily.

There will be no calling hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret's Church for her immediate family. The Rite of Committal and burial will be private in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY or Francis House.
