Nelson Clifford Dunham,63, of East Syracuse died peacefully at Crouse Hospital on Wednesday October 20, 2021. Nelson was born in Washington D.C. the son of Gerald and Martha (Loup) Dunham.

Nelson was a mechanical engineer employed by Anaren. Niff was an Army veteran. He  enjoyed wood-working,  making wine and was an avid camper. Niff thoroughly enjoyed golfing with the Anaren Gold League. He also looked forward to the annual "Real Men's Camp-out"

Left to cherish his memory are his spouse Jo Ellen Schermerhorn of East Syracuse, his son Joshua Dunham of Cicero, his daughter Kari Dunham of Syracuse, his Step-daughter Amanda Cooper of East Syracuse, his step-son Coy Whittaker of East Syracuse, two sisters Linda (Paul) Wesner of Columbus ,Ohio and Barb (Ken) Nolan  of Baldwinsville, two brothers David (Cheryl) Arnold and Tom (Samantha )Arnold both of Baldwinsville, two grandchildren Emory and Easton Dunham, several nieces and nephews and members of the Schermerhorn family whom he cared for deeply.

Calling hours will be held Saturday October 30, 2021 from 1-4 pm at Maurer Funeral Home, Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A service of remembrance will take place at 4:00 pm immediately following calling hours.
