Pamela L. (Geiger) Reed, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the age of 67.

Born in Schenectady, NY, Pamela was the daughter of the late Robert and Grace (Andrews) Geiger. She grew up in Schenectady and New Jersey before moving to Liverpool, NY. She graduated from Liverpool High School.

Pamela continued her education at SUNY Brockport, earning both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education. After graduation, she was united in marriage to Daniel E. Reed, a blessed union of 44 years. Pamela was employed as a Substitute Teacher for 13 years with the Jordan-Elbridge School District.

Pamela delighted in cooking, reading, puzzles, birdwatching and walks. She cherished time with her grandchildren most of all. Her caring spirit, humor and compassion touched all who knew her.

She was survived by her husband, Daniel E. Reed of Memphis, NY. Surviving are two daughters, Danielle (Ryan) Smith of Holly Ridge, NC, Molly Reed (Alex Fletcher) of Weedsport, NY, two grandchildren, Savannah Smith and Carson Smith three sisters; Lucretia (Nigel) Woolf of Encinitas, CA, Patrice (Robert) Keegan of Baldwinsville, NY, Lisa (Mark) Patton of Apollo, PA, several nieces, nephews and her granddog, Maxine.

Pamela's thoughtfulness, appetizers, and ability to get backstage to almost any concert will be missed by all.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place privately in Riverview Cemetery, Clifton Springs, NY.
