Patricia M. Buckley, 81, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Tuesday at Francis House in Syracuse, NY. She was born in Saranac Lake, NY, the daughter of the late George H. and Margaret K. (Hogan) Buckley, Sr. After graduating from Pius X High School, Pat came to Syracuse, NY in 1962 and finished her education attending Onondaga Community College. Over the years, Pat worked for many organizations including; Upstate Medical Center, Onondaga County Dept. of Mental Health, NYS Mental Health, Dav-Com, Inc., Syracuse Community Health Center and the Rescue Mission.

Pat spent many hours devoted to community work, leading organizations and being past president of many; Professional Secretary Organization, Metro Professional Women's Group, Zonta, Seton Seniors, Pat's Brats Group, The Clan, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Council & Eucharistic Minister, Cato Senior Group and GSHTA. Her dedication earned her many awards including, Secretary of the Year, Friend of Local Veterans, Oncenter Special Employee and the American Medical Association Professional. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Margaret and infant twin, George Jr., Thomas, her niece, Susan Pebbles, and special friend, John Cook.

Surviving are her sister, Elizabeth Pebbles of Fort Mill, SC, nieces and nephews; James (Carole) Pebbles, Paul (Jackie) Pebbles, Nancy Pebbles, Thomas (Rachael) Buckley, Jr., Kathleen (David) Hintenlang, Robert (Terry) Buckley, Michael (Venessa) Buckley, 14 great nieces and nephews, one great-great niece, her sister-in-law, Barbara Buckley, the Adele and Bill Byrne family as well as many treasured friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 11:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY, with the Rite of Committal and entombment to follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Francis House or Spirit of Syracuse Chorus (Sweet Adelines).
