Patricia Holly Murphy, 65, of Syracuse, New York passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 after having courageously fought a 75-month battle with stage 4 breast cancer.

Holly was born in Buffalo, NY to parents Cecil L. Murphy Jr. and Doris Dean Marks Murphy on November 14, 1952. Holly graduated Cum Laude from Cortland University. Through the years, she found joy in modeling for local television and advertisements. After 20 years of service, she retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Company.

Holly is survived by her loving companion of over 30 years, Richard Rossi, of Camillus; brother, Cecil and his wife Linda Murphy, as well as her niece Kathryn Murphy Halle and nephew Andrew L. Murphy.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Anthony Scalzo and the caring staff at Hematology-Oncology Associates of CNY, WAVES Ambulance Service, Camillus Police Department and the Fairmont Fire Department.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville with funeral services at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
