Rand "Randy" George Klinke, 80, of Liverpool passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Elderwood at Liverpool. Born in Queens, NY, he was raised and educated in Queens and the Catskills, graduating from Cairo-Durham High School in Cairo, NY. While residing in Ridgewood, NY he met the love of his life, Mary Ann Curran. On October 24, 1964 they were united in marriage, a blessed union of 57 years. While living in Troy, Michigan, Rand was a Vice President in the Burroughs Corporation in Detroit, MI. In 1985, the couple came to Liverpool where he has since resided. He retired in 1993 as a Vice President in CIS Corporation in Syracuse. Rand was kind and intelligent, always taking time for everyone. He was always smiling and full of frank, yet positive energy. Rand enjoyed woodworking, fishing and spending time in his rose or vegetable gardens or with his beloved dog and cats. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Rand is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth Klinke, his brother, Robert Klinke, and sister, Valerie Hoglin.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Mary Ann Klinke of Liverpool, NY; two daughters, Debbie (Tony) Arias of Bonita Springs, Fl. and Sharon (Dan) Wendler of Jupiter, Fl.; six grandchildren: DJ, Jack, Isaac and Max Wendler, Joe and Paul Arias; niece, Katie Curran and several nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Rt. 31 Baldwinsville, with Rite of Committal and burial to follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rand's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, American Heart Association, or the North Shore Animal League.
