Raymond H. Armstrong, age 86, passed away on May 20, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.  He was born November 6, 1936 in Ithaca, NY, the son of the late Albert and Egeria Robinson Armstrong. He graduated from Cortland High School in 1955.  He retired from Truax and Hovey as a master drywall specialist before moving to VA where he continued this line of work for many years.

He was predeceased by his brothers, George and Edward Armstrong; sisters, Margaret and Jean Ostrander, Louise Van Horn and Betty Jenson.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews; his significant other of more than 30 years, Sandra-Leppard-Barcomb of Liverpool, NY; her children, Robyn and Michael Barcomb, granddaughter Taylor Barcomb and great-grandson Raymond J. Boyle. His daughter, Deborah Armstrong-Reese of Kalamazoo, MI; her children, Angela Reese-Johnson, Nathan Reese and grandchildren, Tymia, Luci and Edward. His extended family, Lois Carpenter; children, Judy, Ellen, Fred, Michael and David and their children and grandchildren.

At Ray's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral.
