Raymond “Bill” Davis, 81, of Phoenix, NY, passed away unexpectantly Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his home from complications due to COPD which led to heart failure. Bill was born in Queens Long Island, October 30, 1944 to Raymond and Nancy Davis. Bill was a graduate of Martin VanBuren High School in Queens and attended Farmingdale State College. For a short time, he worked as a machinist then went on to work in the Syracuse office for AT&T for 30 years as a supervisor retiring in 1997.

He was a long-time classic car enthusiast building and repairing cars for friends and caring for his own 1984 Corvette and 1948 Ford Coupe. He was a founding member of the Maple Road Boyz Car Club enjoyed car cruising with friends.

He was predeceased by his twin sons, Christopher and Joseph Davis, and his parents, Raymond and Nancy Davis.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years Mariann, twin sons, Bill (Beth), Bruce (Carrie), grandchildren, Sarah, Mia, Camden, Makenna, Ashlyn (Joey) Martin, Kristina (Shane) Medley, Kit Kenyon, great-grandchildren, Michael, James, Peter, Violet, Amelia, and Frances. Also surviving are his sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Thomas) Hall and nephews and great nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Burial will be held Friday, May 22, 2026 at 10:00 am with a procession starting from the funeral home to Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
