Richard T. Higgins, 72, of Fulton, NY and longtime Liverpool resident, passed away on Tuesday at Sunnyside Care Center, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Ceylon E. and Susan (Zeolla) Higgins. Richard grew up in Liverpool graduating from Liverpool High School, Class of 1969. Rich enjoyed a long career as a Fire Equipment Inspector, retiring from Jerome Fire Equipment in Fulton, NY. He had a love for Disney World, enjoying his many trips throughout the years. In addition to his parents, Richard is predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Higgins in 1971.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his brother, James (Julie) Higgins of East Syracuse, NY, his uncle, Carmen (Donna) Zeolla and several cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services with the Rite of Committal and burial will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 11:00 am in Woodlawn Cemetery, 800 Grant Blvd. Syracuse, NY 13203.
