Richard Henry "Rick" House, 51, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.  Rick was born June 7, 1970 to John A. and Patricia Coiley House in Auburn, NY.  He graduated in 1988 from Cato Meridian High School and moved to Hastings, IA in 1990 with his family.  Rick was a kind and gentle man who loved hunting and the outdoors. His love of nature led him to a career as the owner of Rick House Landscaping in Council Bluffs. Rick is predeceased by his mother, Patricia House.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, John House of Cato, NY; a sister, Heather (Mark) Warren of Cato, NY; a brother, Garth House of Bondurant, IA; a niece, Mariah House; nephews, Dalton House, Ethan (Annette) Warren and Joseph Warren and great-nephews Arden and Easton Warren and his little dog, Zues who went everywhere with him.

A calling hour will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 am in St. Patrick's Church, 2576 Mechanic St., Cato, NY 13033 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be private.
