Richard A. Tretowicz, 69, passed away Tuesday. Born in West Rutland, VT, he was a resident of Liverpool for 40 Years and a communicant of Christ the King Church.

He was a graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and a member of the Society of Actuaries. Richard retired as Senior Vice-President of Farmers & Traders Life Insurance Co. in Syracuse. He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ann Tretowicz who passed away in 2005.

He is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law, Mark & Suzanne Tretowicz of Landenberg, PA and Dave & Kim Tretowicz of Baldwinsville; two sisters & brothers-in-law, Terry & Joe Mayeros of Westfield, MA and Helen & Henry Czachor of West Rutland, VT; and four grandchildren, Alyssa, Adam & Lindsey and Evan.

Funeral Services will be 9:15am Monday, May 5, 2008 from the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners and 10:00am in Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool with entombment to follow in Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum, Clay. Calling hours will be 3:00-6:00pm Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the funeral home, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville. Contributions may be made the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
