Robert J. Dugan, 89, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Thursday at the Syracuse Home Association. A son of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Vargovcik) Dugan, Robert was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. He was united in marriage to Rosaleen B. Ralph. After starting their family, they came to the Syracuse area in 1972 settling in Liverpool, NY. Robert was the President of Michael, Roberts Associates, Inc. in Syracuse, NY, employed as an Investment Executive until his retirement. Robert loved to travel. Along with his wife, the couple traveled worldwide visiting Ireland, Australia, Italy, Germany, France, Wales, England, Switzerland and Spain. He was also an active parishioner of St. Lucy's Church, being a lector and volunteering in the food pantry. He is predeceased by his daughter, Eileen Dugan, sister, Eileen Rooney and his brother, Kenneth Dugan.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Rosaleen Bernadette Dugan, two daughters, Therese (William) Risley and Maureen (George) Scheuermann, two grandsons, Neal (Karen) Scheuermann and John Scheuermann (Fiancée Katherine Manzuk), great-granddaughter, Daisy Grace and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford St. Syracuse, NY 13204. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am with the Rite of Committal and burial to follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
