Robert J. King, of Liverpool and Lafayette, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024 at Crouse Hospital with his wife Char at his side.  He was born in Syracuse, NY to Robert W. and Theresa (Tomaszewski) King. Robert resided on his family farm in Lafayette, NY and was Valedictorian of his class at Lafayette High School. In 1994, Bob married Charlotte Fellows. They shared a home in Liverpool and a property on Oneida Lake, and his family farm in Lafayette, NY.

His talents were endless. He worked at New Process Gear as a Tool Maker for 30 plus years retiring in 1991.  At home he was a carpenter, a cabinet maker, a designer of stone works and ceramics, a gardener whose greenhouse raised every kind of orchid imaginable!

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Charlotte Fellows, 2 sons, Edward and Brian (Jill) King, his brother, James L. (Marie) King and sister, Barbara (Kim) Powell, 2 granddaughters, April & Erin, several nieces & nephews.

Services will be private.

The family of Robert is asking anyone wishing to memorialize his life, to plant a hardwood tree in his memory.
