Robert “Jake” D. Kingsley, 86, of Phoenix, NY passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at home. He was born in Phoenix, NY to the late Harold and Francis (Harke) Kingsley. Jake attended Phoenix High School. He was employed as a mechanic and truck driver for Gypsum Express until his retirement. Jake was a member of the Teamsters, Local # 317 and a 38-year member of the Enterprise Fire Company No 1 in Phoenix, NY. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Surviving are his children, Robert D. (Lynett) Kingsley, Jr., Debra Jean Kingsley (Alan), David M. (Rhonda) Kingsley and Daniel E. Kingsley; 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jake’s life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Phoenix Fire Station # 1, 457 Main Street, Phoenix, NY 13135.

Private burial will take place in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert’s memory can be made to Enterprise Fire Company # 1, 457 Main St. Phoenix, NY 13135.
