Obituary

Robert "Bob" J. Kukula, 64 of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

Bob was born in Ann Arbor, MI to Leonard and Sandra Kukula on Sept 25, 1959. Growing up in Pennsylvania, he was a skilled athlete and musician. Bob met the love of his life while serving out his dream as an F-16 fighter jet mechanic in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Bob had strong family values, a heart of gold, and was always a friend you could count on. He was famous for his witty, comedic timing, love of rock music and fondness for German Shepherds. Bob also loved to hunt, fish, camp, golf, and play baseball/softball. He is preceded in death by his father Leonard "Kuk" Kukula and mother Sandra "Bonz" Kukula.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Jo Kukula, 2 daughters, Candice Baxter of Eureka, KS and Ashley (Javier) Cuevas of Frederick, MD, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, sister, Kathryn Andress of Liverpool, NY, brother, William (Tammy) Kukula of Cicero, NY and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military honors for Bob will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:00 am in Pine Plains Cemetery, 8686 Henry Clay Blvd, Clay, NY 13041. A potluck celebration of life will follow at the Moyers Corners Fire Department, Station 1 at 1:00 pm.
