Robert W. Mahunik, 71, of Pennellville, NY passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 11 ^th .  Robert was a graduate of Henninger High School and Hudson Valley Community College.  He retired from Crouse Hospital where he worked as an X-Ray Technologist for 39 years.  He enjoyed fishing with his brother Paul and spent many hours on his computer.  Robert is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Virginia Mahunik and his brother, Edward Mahunik.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann (Pencek) Mahunik, a son, Phillip (Sarah) Mahunik of Timnath, CO, a daughter, Alysha K. Mahunik of Phoenix, AZ, three grandchildren; Harrison, Violet and Grant Mahunik, his brother, Paul Mahunik of Syracuse, his sister, Nancy (Frank) Grandinetti of Syracuse, two nieces; Jessica (Justin) Miller and Morgan Whitcomb and a nephew, Justin Mahunik and numerous other nieces and nephews, along with his sister-in-law, Barbara "Bobbi" Mahunik.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm.
