Robert "Rob" A. Mattoon, 46, of Baldwinsville passed away unexpectedly on Thursday surrounded by his family. Born in Springfield, MA, Rob was raised and educated in Liverpool, graduating from Liverpool High School, Class of 94. Rob began a life-long career in construction with R&S Associates General Contractors, Inc. in Phoenix, NY for 18 years until its closing. Because of his hard work ethic throughout the years, Rob opened his own business and was the proud owner and President of Mattoon Construction Services, Inc. in Baldwinsville for the last 8 years. Rob was a devoted husband and father, always making sure his girls and family came first. Rob was the glue that held his family together. He had a heart of gold and loved spending time with his daughters, watching them compete at dance competitions. In addition to enjoying SU sports, boating and golfing, Rob's favorite place was his dream lake home recently completed on Little Sodus Bay. It was there he was happiest being with his family and friends.  He is predeceased by his father, Alan E. Mattoon.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years, Jodi L. (Fleming) Mattoon, three beloved daughters; Alexa, Riley and Brinley, his mother, Patti Mattoon, his brother, Brian A. (Brittany) Mattoon, four nephews; Lucas, Bennett, Parker and Beckett, many close aunts, uncles, cousins, also Ayla Fleming and his canine companions, Stella and Steel.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with funeral services to follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
