Robert D. McCabe Jr., 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Bob was a local legend in the Syracuse area, well known from his work as a salesman with Monarch Liquor Corporation, participation with the Lions Club and his bartending at various local watering holes. He had a passion for singing and delighted those around him with his performances wherever he went.

He was deeply loved by many, especially his partner of 10 years, Beverly Hurst, who took such great care of him.

Bob was predeceased by his wife, Brenda McCabe.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Patricia McCabe, along with their children, Sean McCabe of Minoa, NY, and Heather McCabe Desmarais of Holliston, MA.
