Robert J. Parker, 82, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Crouse Hospital. He was born Utica, NY, the son of the late, Homer and Anne (Tedesco) Parker. Rob grew up in Utica graduating from Thomas R. Proctor High School.  After school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to the former Carol A. Sawicki, a blessed union of 60 years together. Rob retired as a Regional Manager after enjoying a 43-year career in the Insurance Industry. He was an avid golfer, NY Giants fan and liked to go bowling. Rob looked forward to Sunday football and Family vacations. He was the happiest when surrounded by his family, it was his favorite and most important part of his life. In addition to his parents, Rob is predeceased by his son, Jeffrey R. Parker in 2021.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Carol A. Parker of Baldwinsville, NY, two daughters, Dawn (Mark) Jenis of Webster, NY and Wendy (Michael) Smith of McKinney, TX, 8 grandchildren; Jacob Parker, Shania and Sierra Jenis, Brookelyn, Blake, Braden, Noah and Nicholas Smith, his sister, Joan Rickard of Ft. Myers, Fl, two nieces, Thea Jandzio and Kristen Urraro and a nephew, Buzzy Rickard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 10:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
