Robert A. Sauro, 84, of Liverpool passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran.  Robert was employed with the Syracuse Fire Department and retired after 33 years of service in 1998 as the 1 ^st Deputy Chief.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Susan, two sons: Robert (Kate) Sauro and Ronald (Clare) Sauro, his daughter, Sandra (Clarence) Walley, a brother, Michael Sauro, 4 grandchildren; Emily, Madeline, Zachary and Eleanor and several nieces and nephews.

At Robert's request, there will be no calling hours or services.  Maurer Funeral Home, Liverpool, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
