Rose Marie Dodd, 82, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday. She was born in Hilldale, WV where she was raised and educated.  Rose attended Talcott High School where she met her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Paul A. Dodd. She had resided in West Virginia, Ohio and Florida before coming to Syracuse in 1975, settling in Liverpool. Rose was employed as a Teacher's Assistant with the Liverpool Central School District in their Early Intervention Program. She was an avid golfer and loved raising her two sons, enjoying being present at all of their events growing up. Rose is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Faye (Garten) Jones and her sister, Judith Gore.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Paul A. Dodd, two sons, Douglas (Paula) Dodd of Baldwinsville, NY and Michael (Kaye) Dodd of Liverpool, four grandchildren; Jeremy Reed (Colleen Fitzgibbons) of Syracuse, NY Lisa Dodd of NYC and Sarah Dodd of Syracuse, NY and Andrew Dodd of Rochester, NY, Four great-grandchildren; Cole, Julia, Jason and Cameron, her brother, Frank (Carolyn) Jones of West Virginia, her sister, Norma Wood of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 10:00 am in Bellewood Baptist Church, 445 Church St., North Syracuse, NY 13212.  Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery, 224 Wells Ave. East, North Syracuse, NY 13212.
