Sally A. Sass, 81, of Liverpool, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 Sally retired from the North Medical Center in Liverpool where she worked as a Medical Assistant for over 20 years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Richard A. Sass and her brother Peter Nichols.

Surviving is her daughter, Christine Jarvis of Liverpool, sons, Jeffrey (Jenna) Sass of Florence, SC and Stephen Sass of Liverpool, as well as eight grandchildren; Jordan Leigh, Alexander (Dusty), Jerrod, Lucas, Clayton, Brooke, Ella and Everly, 4 great-grandchildren; Julian, Dakota, Asher and Oliver, her brother, Francis (Sally Lou) Nichols, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11:00 am followed by the Rite of Committal and burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
