Sandra S. McHale, 83, of Central Square, NY passed away on Monday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. She was born in Harvey, West Virginia where she was raised and attended high school. Sandy was employed as an Administrative Assistant with the US Federal Government, retiring after 50 years of service. She had resided in Central Square for the past 35 years. Sandy enjoyed bowling and playing cards with family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Robert F. McHale, her parents, Wanda Evelyn and Captain Arthur Allen, and two brothers, Donald Carl Allen and Butch Allen.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her son, James (Kathy) Bowyer of Hurricane, WV, sister, Mary (Bill) Adkins of Glen Jean, WV, brother, Sidney (Loretta) Allen of Duluth, GA, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, special loving friends; Irene, Joyce, John and Mary, Kathy, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Sandra was laid to rest next to her husband in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandy's memory can be made to the Animal Shelter of one's choice.
