Sandra J. (Disinger) Van Marter beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Sandra was very well known for her keen eye for interior design and love of antiques. Sandra loved her family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand if ever in need and there was no mission too big.  She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Doris Disinger, brother, Foster Kimm Disinger, sister, Marilynn King and son, Alexander Russo.

Surviving to cherish Sandra's memory are her husband of 55 years, Richard Van Marter; her son, Richard (Darlene)Van Marter; daughter, Ginger Van Marter (Michael Nolan); step daughter, Vicki Fitch; stepson, Mark Van Marter (Linda); daughter in-law, Kelly (Jeff) Brazeal; brother, Paul (Antoinette) Disinger and brother in-law, Edward (Judy) Van Marter; her grandchildren, Sean (Luisa) Murney, Chelsea Fitch, Alexa Russo, Shelby Russo, Ethan (Marianne) Van Marter and three great-grandchildren, with another one on the way.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088, with a funeral service held at 12:00 pm.  Following the service burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Nedrow, NY 13120.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandra's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
