Sherry Charlotte Turnbull, 98, of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Menorah Park.  Sherry was born in Syracuse and has lived in Liverpool for the past 80 Years.  She retired from New York Telephone Company after 27 years of service.  She was a member and Elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Syracuse, a member of the Telephone Pioneers, 1123 C.W.A. Retirees, Salina Seniors and Order of Eastern Star.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Turnbull who died in 1997, and her son David Turnbull in 2019.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Randie L. (Steve) Hughes of Cicero and Richard R. "Rick" (Cheryl) Turnbull of Petersburg, VA, grandchildren; David (Melissa) Thibault, Jodie (Brad) Stone, Gerry (Jody) Thibault and Kerrie (Joe) Turnbull, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 nieces.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088 with funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm. Following the services Entombment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.

The family greatly wishes to thank the staff on Unit 2 at Menorah Park for all the compassionate care that was given to their Mother during her stay there.
