October 14, 1941 – September 25, 2024
Suzanne E. (Briggs) Geremski, 82, formerly of Liverpool, NY passed away on Wednesday at Brandywine Upper Providence long term care facility in Phoenixville, PA. She was born in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Marion (Flood) Briggs. A life-long Syracuse area resident, Suzanne retired in 1996 as an Administrative Assistant with Health Care Data Systems in East Syracuse, NY. She was an avid golfer, avid SU sports fan and volunteered for All Faiths Food Pantry in Syracuse. Suzanne was also was a parishioner and active volunteer at Pope John XXIII Catholic Church in Liverpool. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Geremski in 1988 and her brother, Mark Briggs in 2010.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her three sons; Thomas (Kathleen) C. Geremski of Royersford, PA, Andrew (Julie) P. Geremski of Fairfax, VT and Peter M. Geremski of Syracuse, NY, her daughter, Cynthia A. Tighe of Maui, Hawaii, five grandchildren; Reed, Benjamin, Adam, Alissa and Alaina, her sister, Barbara P. Von Hendy of Liverpool, NY several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:00 am in Pope John XXIII Catholic Church, 8290 Soule Road, Liverpool, NY 13090. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
