Teresa K. Amos, 74, formerly of Baldwinsville, NY and currently residing in Temperance, MI, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 11, 2024 with family by her side, after being diagnosed with dementia in 2006.  She was born on November 27, 1949 in Ithaca, NY the daughter of the late John and Susan (Whittier) Kleist. On April 11, 1970, she married Frederick T. Amos in Romulus, NY.  A homemaker for many years Teresa had also worked as a seamstress for the Salvation Army and a party planner for McDonald's.

Teresa loved the outdoors and all animals, scrapbooking, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed time spent traveling, including her time she lived in Hawaii and Egypt. She also loved taking care of her family and spoiling her grandchildren. In addition to parents, Teresa is predeceased by her beloved husband of 44 years, Frederick T. Amos in 2014.

She is survived by her 2 sons, David D. Amos of Syracuse, NY and Benjamin J. (Lesli Tibai) Amos of Temperance, MI, brother, Barney Kleist of Paul Smiths, NY, sister, Debbie Kleist of Syracuse, NY, 5 grandchildren; Rhys (Maisy), Brennan, Jonathan, Gerald, and Louis of Temperance, MI, nieces, Leah and Laura, nephew, Scottie, many cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street Liverpool, New York 13088, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 10:00 am in Mount Green Cemetery, Romulus, New York.
