Teresa "Terry" (Andolina) Pease, 80, of the Village of Liverpool passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, after several years bravely fighting cancer. She was born on June 21, 1946, in Fulton, New York, the daughter of John and Mary Andolina.
After graduating from SUNY Brockport, Terry taught school for several years before becoming a caseworker for Onondaga County Social Services. After the birth of her son, Bryan, she left the workforce to raise her two sons, Bryan and Michael. During those years she devoted herself to volunteer work for several non-profit organizations, later working for Literacy Volunteers.
Terry was very active at Epiphany Parish (St. Joseph's), participating in many of the church's ministries. She had a lifelong love of theater, performing in community theater productions in Syracuse and Naples, FL, and taking part in Gerard Moses's Saturday morning workshop for over twenty years. Most recently she took part in the Downtown Writers Center playwriting group. She was also a member of Livestrong, a group that provides support services to those affected by cancer. She loved taking Italian classes and traveled to Italy on several occasions with friends and family. Terry was a member of the Onondaga Yacht Club and a lifetime practitioner of Yoga. After her husband, Bill, retired, the couple spent winters in Naples, Florida.
Above all, Terry was happiest surrounded by her family, especially at Sunday spaghetti dinners.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Pease; her sons, Bryan (Parisa) Pease and Michael Pease (Allyson St. Laurent); her grandchildren, Owen and Julian Pease; her brother, Joseph (Mary Beth) Andolina of California; her sister, Anne Marie Andolina (Darvis Roca) of Queens, NY; her close friend, Fran (Mellone) McCormack; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and many close friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 11:00 am in Catholic Family of Epiphany Church, 1001 Tulip Street, Liverpool, NY 13088. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Liverpool Village Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Epiphany Parish Food Pantry, Hospice of CNY, and the Syracuse Peace Council.
Please sign the Maurer Funeral Home on-line guestbook for Terry to express your condolences to her family.
