Terry M. (DeForest) Hiller, 60, formerly of Liverpool, NY, resided in Plymouth, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Terry was a 1981 graduate of Liverpool High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from SUNY Oswego, then went on to earn her Master's Degree at Lemoyne College. For the past 25 years she has worked as a Special Education Teacher for the Cincinnatus School District.  She had a great passion for teaching and was very dedicated to working with students with special needs.   Besides being a teacher, Terry was an avid golfer, loved all Syracuse University Sports, and a Buffalo Bills and NY Rangers Hockey team fan.  During the summer months she and her husband, Michael would spend those days at Sandy Pond on their pontoon boat with family and friends.  She also loved to take long walks with her dog Sandy.

She is predeceased by her parents, Russell and Lorraine DeForest.

Surviving to cherish Terry's memory are her loving husband of 34 years, Michael J. Hiller, stepson, Eric Hiller, brothers; Russell A. DeForest, Jr., Steven E. (Cheryl) DeForest, Brian D. (Sherry) DeForest and Kevin L. DeForest, sisters; Jaime M. (Michael) DeForest-Rosso, Lynn D. Felicia, Kim L. (Daniel) DeForest Bard and Tracey M. DeForest, grandchildren; Jack, Kira, and Zelda Hiller, her loving dog Sandy, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with funeral services to follow at 7:00 pm.
