Theodore "Ted" C. Hansen, Sr., 88, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Friday at home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Norwich, NY, son of the late Elmer and Hilda (Morse) Hanson. Ted grew up and attended Norwich High School, Class of 56. After graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in communications. In 1959, he was united in marriage to the former Antonia "Toni" Matt, a blessed union of 66 years. Ted continued his studies at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting. He was the CFO for Hoffman Air & Filtration Systems. Currently, Ted was working as the CFO for his family business, Hansen Quality Printing in Syracuse. He was past president of the Institute of Management Accountants and board member of the Printing Institute of America. Ted was an active parishioner of Catholic Family of Epiphany Church, an avid golfer, and enjoyed fly fishing on Elk Lake. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sister, Patricia Monday.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Antonia "Toni" Hansen; 5 sons, Chris Hansen, Stephen (Cynthia) Hansen, Dan (Stacy) Hansen, Mike (Mary) Hansen, Jon Hansen, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Dave (Sandy) Hanson, Richard Hansen, Gary (Kathy) Hanson, his sister, Audre (George) Vought, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Catholic Family of Epiphany Church, 1001 Tulip St. Liverpool, NY followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal and burial will be private in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at a future date.
