Thomas R. Fitzgibbons, 94, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. He was born in Syracuse, NY, the son of the late Raymond V. and Helen R. (Tague) Fitzgibbons. Tom graduated from St. John the Baptist Academy and continued his education obtaining his Bachelor's degree from Lemoyne College. He finished his studies in International Relations at Syracuse University receiving his Masters degree. He started his career in education as a 4th grade teacher at Cato -Meridian Elementary School. Tom came to the Liverpool Central School District as a reading teacher for 5th and 6th grade and was a guidance counselor at Liverpool Elementary. He was past Principal at A.V. Zogg in Liverpool. Tom was also an Associate Professor at both Keuka College and SUNY Oswego. He ended his career in formal education as the curriculum director at Lyncourt School. After his retirement, Tom enjoyed being a Real Estate Sales Associate for Tucci, Gallinger and Reality USA in the Syracuse area. He was an avid golfer, downhill skier and former member of Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club. Tom is predeceased by his two brothers, John "Jack" Fitzgibbons and James P. Fitzgibbons SM.

Surviving are his loving companion of 32 years, Sharon J. Scheiwiller, two nieces, Kathy (Thomas) Tracy and Mary Fitzgibbons and a nephew, John (Lori) Fitzgibbons.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rte 31 Baldwinsville, NY.  A Mass of Christion Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Rte 31, Baldwinsville, NY., with the Rite of Committal and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt, NY.
