Thomas A. "Tommy" Gillard 76, of Brewerton, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Upstate Community Hospital. Thomas was born the son of William R. and Catherine M. Galaski Gillard.

Thomas was a 1963 graduate of Liverpool High School.

Tommy retired from Carrier Corp as an Inspector after 35 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, being outdoors in nature and most any casino. Tommy's favorite place was his daughter's camp at Grass Lake in Redwood, NY. He will be remembered for his dry wit and the love of his family. Tom was famous for saying " shut the door !" and " what am I, chopped liver?"

Surviving are his wife of 54 years the former Linda Brown, a son William (Tracy) Gillard of Brewerton, two daughters, Christina (Douglas) Hagan of West Monroe, Shana (Jason) Gillard of Central Square, two sisters, Catherine Isbell of Memphis,NY, and Mary Schapley of Liverpool, grandchildren Jeffrey, Lindsay, Jessica, Nicholas, Catherine, Lily, Grace, and Jacob. A great-grandson Ronan.

In keeping with Tom's request, there will be no services or calling hours.

Contributions in memory of Thomas may be made to Meals on Wheels and The Food Bank of CNY.
