Virginia "Ginny" Benware died peacefully at her home on December 27, 2024. She was born on August 12, 1941 in Syracuse to parents, Joseph and Nancy Pagano, and graduated with honors from North High School in 1959. Following graduation, she worked as a secretary at SUNY College of Forestry. She married Roy Benware on December 11, 1965, and resided in Liverpool until his passing in 2022.

Ginny was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved nothing more than spending time with her family, attending many concerts with her son, and watching her favorite soap opera "The Young and the Restless". Ginny enjoyed going to restaurants with her family, as well as collecting Hallmark ornaments. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Christina Starr.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Benware, daughter, Pamela (Bill) Regan, granddaughter, Kira Regan, sisters, Rose Watson and Mary King, along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
