Virginia D. Betelak, 97, passed away at home on Sunday, October 10, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Katherine (Zielinicka) and John Dejewski.  Virginia was raised in Schenectady, and moved to Syracuse where she worked for GE, Chappell's and National Semiconductor.

Virginia was married to the late Michael Betelak and raised three children.  She was predeceased by her husband, her parents and her seven sisters.

Virginia is survived by her children, Michaelann (Jim) Hunter, Dave (Diane) Betelak, and Brian (Vikkie) Betelak, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the aides who assisted Virginia and hospice for coordinating her care.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Literacy Volunteers, Hospice of CNY or Epiphany Parish.

Services will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second St., Liverpool NY.
