Virginia "Louise" Dean, 89, formerly of Brewerton, NY passed away on Saturday. She was born in Fulton, NY to Glenn and Susan (Meyers) Roach. Louise grew up in Fulton, graduating from Fulton High School, class of 1954. She started working at the Nestle Plant in Fulton, NY before taking a job as an office administrator with General Electric in 1957. It was there she met the love of her life, Clarence E. Dean, a blessed union of 38 years. Louise retired in 1993 after 36 years with GE. In her younger years, she liked camping and going snowmobiling. Louise enjoyed being outside, participating in the CNY Folksmarch walking group and was an active member of the Cicero United Methodist Church. She loved her family and was devoted to being at all family events, supporting, watching and cheering. Louise will be sadly missed by all who loved her. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Clarence in 2004, her siblings, Eleanor Pryor, Beryl Roach, Sandra Woodridge and her stepdaughter, Jeanne Burton.

Surviving are her sister, Martha M. Hayden of Fulton, NY, son-in-law, Jon Burton of NC, five grandchildren, Terri (Douglas) Wagner, Kelly (Pete) Sweeting, Todd Burton, Kami (Eric) Dykes, Chad (Erin) Burton, 11 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, her niece and caretaker, Karen A. Acker as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A calling hour will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm. Spring burial will take place in Mount Adnah Cemetery in Fulton, NY.
