Virginia "Ginger" E. Gellert

Virginia “Ginger” E. Gellert, 81, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 22, 2026. Ginger was born in Queens, New York. She retired from the Liverpool Central School District where she worked as a Teacher’s Aide for over 35 years. She enjoyed crocheting, music, reading and watching her favorite book and movie, “Gone with the Wind”. Ginger’s greatest joy and love was being “Nanny” to her grandchildren, and spending time with her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years, Robert Gellert, her children Paul (Lisa) Gellert, Scott (Becky) Gellert, Kristin Gellert, and her beloved grandchildren.

A calling hour from will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, June 26, 2026 in the Catholic Family of Epiphany Church, 1001 Tulip Street Liverpool, NY 13088. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
