Wanda J. (Greenfield) Turner, 76, of Jordan, NY passed away peacefully at home on Monday in her sleep. She was born in Ogdensburg, NY a daughter of the late Wilferd and Vivian (Holford) Greenfield. Wanda grew up in Wellsville, NY attending Wellsville High School. She continued her education graduating from Alfred State College. Prior to coming to the Syracuse area, she resided in Rochester, NY employed as a Draftsman for IBM. Wanda lived in Liverpool, NY for over 20 years working for many area florists, landscapers and nurseries. After moving to Jordan, NY, she opened her own business, WT's Greenery. Wanda's true passion was her love for gardening. She enjoyed aquascaping fish tanks, carpentry and designing jewelry. Wanda loved animals and was a bird enthusiast. She was fiercely independent, honest, thoughtful and resourceful. Wanda had an artistic flair and was a great storyteller. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Sharon Schweiger.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her two sons, Bryan (Sherri) Turner of Syracuse, NY and Aaron Turner of Seattle, WA, her granddaughter, Lia Turner and two nieces, Heather Schweiger and Jennifer Schweiger Fatone.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY with funeral services to follow at 7:00 pm.
