Wayne A. Phoenix, 67, of Liverpool, NY, died on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Francis House, after a long battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He was born January 9, 1957 in Schenectady, NY and moved to Syracuse in 1981. He worked for Verizon (formerly NYNEX) from 1984 until 2009. Wayne was an avid golfer and a committed volunteer to Operation Southern/Northern Comfort helping with recovery for those affected by natural disasters.

Wayne is survived by his three children; Daniel, Kevin and Alexandrina as well as his father, Ray, a sister, Jan and a brother, Mark. He is predeceased by his mother, Mavis, and a brother, David.

At Wayne's request, there will be no services.
